The Winter 2010/11 Series of Reggae Concerts will feature top Reggae Artists at the same fantastic venue with the usual outstanding production, and professional organization, ensuring phenomenal experiences by tourists and residents visiting the town of Negril. The shows will be every Tuesday during the winter season, and will have one main artist preceded by an opening act.
The One Love Reggae Concert Series seeks to create prosperity the One Love Drive, Negril, Western Jamaica, and the whole island by packaging and presenting the Reggae Brand as a major income earner. Already the spirit of the concerts are impacting the community with each concert contributing part proceeds to a Negril Charity or NGO. Beneficiaries to date include: St. Anthony’s Soup Kitchen, The Theodora’s Womens Shelter, Ironshore Kindergarten, Negril Coral Reef Preservation Soceity, Negril Environmental Protection Trust, The Negril chapter of the JHTA, the Negril Chamber of Commerce,

The Negril Cluster, and the Young Tigers mentorship program for at risk youth. The direct beneficiaries include all Negril hotels, restaurants, JCAL Caribic Vacations, Jamaica Tours and other tour companies, artistes, musicians, Sound Intense sound engineers, Sound Illusion lighting, MC’s, promoters, Mystic Online flyer company, Sign Creation & Ben-up, and Simon Signs billboard companies, town cry businesses, Lazeme music studio, ToriShae PR agency, Vybz, Linkz, radio stations. Air Jamaica, American Airlines, US Air, many art, craft and food vendors, stage manager, production manager, and the crew. Lets continue to spread the love.Artists that are being booked for the Winter Series include Damian Marley, Sean Kingston, Third World, Beres Hammond, Tarrus Riley, Gyptian, Luciano, Kymani Marley and more.
There will be 25 concerts in the Winter ‘10/11 Series which will target Jamaica’s main tourism markets including USA, UK, Canada, Europe, Japan as well as residents of Jamaica and the diaspora. These shows directly benefit hundreds of Jamaicans in and around the Negril.
